The Cleveland Cavaliers took a 2-1 lead in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals with an 87-79 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 3 on Monday night at Quicken Loans Arena.

LeBron James led the way for the Cavaliers with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists, while Kevin Love added 21 points and 12 rebounds. Kyrie Irving also chipped in with 18 points.

The Celtics were led by Jayson Tatum, who had 24 points. Al Horford added 16 points, while Terry Rozier had 15 points.

The Cavs led by just four points at halftime, but they pulled away in the second half. They held the Celtics to just 33.3% shooting in the second half, and they forced 13 turnovers.

The series now shifts to Boston for Game 4 on Wednesday night.
