Florida's Scoring Streak Snapped at 142 Games

Gators Fall to Clemson in Super Regional

Robertson's 13th-Inning Double Ends Historic Run

Florida's historic scoring streak came to an end at 142 games on Sunday, as the Gators fell to Clemson in the second game of their Super Regional matchup. The loss snapped Florida's third-longest scoring streak in program history, which dated back to May 27, 2022.

The game was a marathon affair, with both teams trading blows throughout the night. Florida took an early lead, but Clemson rallied to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game remained tied through 12 innings, before Michael Robertson's bases-loaded double in the bottom of the 13th gave the Tigers the walk-off win.

The loss was a disappointing end to a historic season for Florida. The Gators won 48 games this season, including a program-record 24-game winning streak. They also won the SEC regular season title and reached the College World Series for the 15th time in program history.
