Following the April meeting of its Executive Board, the Commonwealth Games Federation, CGF has announced the readmission of Gambia to the Commonwealth Sport family.

The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF), currently known as Commonwealth Sport, is the international organization responsible for the Commonwealth Games, a multi-sport event for athletes from the Commonwealth of Nations. The CGF also governs the development of sports within the Commonwealth and supports athletes and sports administrators from Commonwealth countries.
